Barcrest. I usually like Barcrest games, but
this one is a tough nut for me. The whole slot
feels very dated, and after each spin the spin
button is greyed out for about one second. There
is also a nudging reel feature with some strange
looking animations, so it's actually difficult
to see how it actually nudges. Like most other
slots from this provider Wild Knights also has a
Big Bet, or Hi-Roller feature as it's named on
this slot. That's the same type of feature that
you can find on for example
Barkin' Mad. The maximal win is different
for the different bet sizes ranging from 500x
the stake to 1.000x the stake for normal bets,

I would like to start off by writing a bit about
the payout percentage and the paytable for Wild
Knights. The payout percentage is divided into 3
categories. Bets from 0.10 to 1.00 has an
expected RTP of 94.00%, while bets of 2.00 or
higher has an expected RTP of 95.00%. The
highest RTP is expected for the Hi-Roller bets,
and spins during that feature has a payout
percentage of 96.00%. The paytable is also
different between the different bet sizes. The
pays for the bets between 0.10 and 1.00
actually pays more per symbol than the paytable
for the 2.00 and higher bets, but the 2.00 and
higher bets have the possibility to trigger a
bonus feature after a winning spin, which makes
the value better in total for these higher bets.
There is also a separate paytable for the
Hi-Roller bets.
Wild Knights has wild symbols on reel 2, 3, 4
and 5 during the base game and the Hi-Roller
spins. While it has wild symbols on all 5 reels
during the free spins. During the base game and
the Hi-Roller spins, a wild symbol can expand to
cover the whole reel it lands on if the initial
spin was a non-winning spin. During the free
spin feature, the wilds will become both
stacked, sticky and nudging. If you have a
non-winning spin, a random nudge feature can be
activated to nudge one reel and create a winning
combination. If you play 2.00 or higher per
spin, a bonus feature that can multiply current
wins can be triggered. This bonus feature can
also help you to trigger the free spin feature.
Hi-Roller bet: The Hi-Roller feature on
this slot machine works just like the Big Bet
feature on other Barcrest slot machines. This is
a feature where you can pay 20, 40, 100,
200, 300 or 400 for a combination of 5
individual spins. The advantage by playing these
spins versus the normal spins is that the RTP is
increased. This is done by making the free spin
feature way easier to trigger. There are 3 grey
shields placed over reel 2, 3 and 4 during these
spins and they are highlighted by hitting a
shield symbol on the below reel. If all shields
are highlighted during the 5 spins, the free
spin feature is awarded. If the free spins are
awarded before all 5 spins have been used, you
get another chance to trigger the free spins
again after the feature has ended.
Bonus feature: The Knight Times bonus
feature can be triggered after any winning spin
if you play 2.00 or higher, that includes the
Hi-Roller bet as well. This is a big fortune
wheel with 16 fields. Some of the fields have a
multiplier value that will multiply your current
win, while the other fields can have 3 red, 3
blue ore a mix of 3 red and blue shields. If you
land on shield an option to trade your win for
the free spins is given, and I would recommend
to always say yes to that trade. If you chose to
trade your win, a free spin feature is triggered
according to the combination of 3 shields you
landed on.
Free spins: The free spin feature can be
triggered in different ways. During the 0.10 to
1.00 spins, a combination of 3 shields are
needed on reel 2, 3 and 4 during a single spin.
The same combination will trigger the free spins
for bets of 2.00 or higher, but it can also be
triggered during the bonus feature during these
higher bets. The Hi-Roller bet has the same two
ways to trigger the free spins, but it also has
a third way to trigger it. The third way is to
trigger it by collecting shields as I've
described in the Hi-Roller bet section. The free
spins can be triggered by a combination of 3
red, 3 blue or a combination of 3 mixed shields.
There is also a symbol that has both the red and
the blue shield on it, this one will count as
both of them.
3 red shields = 3 lives, 3 blue shields = 2
lives, while 3 mixed shields give you 1 life.
There is no limitation to the amount of spins
that can be won, but you will lose 1 life when a
green dragon appears on reel number 5 during the
free spins. During the free spins all wild
symbols will become stacked, sticky and nudging
wilds. This means that when a wild appears, it
will stick to the reels, and for the next spin
it will move one position down. The free spin
feature ends when the dragon has taken all your
lives. It's not possible to re-trigger the free
spins.
