4 Reel Kings is a special video slot machine
made by Novomatic. This is in fact a tribute to
the well-known slot Reel
King, that is made by the same provider. If
you've ever played Reel King, then you will
instantly understand how the game works. It is
basically the same game, but instead of playing
at one reel set, 4 Reel Kings let you
play on 4 different reel sets. The payout table
is just the same as on the original version. The
special thing about this slot machine is that
you can activate the bonus in an additional way.
During the period you spin each of the 4 reel
sets, it's possible to highlight one or more
symbols in the "4 REEL" text above the slot
machine. If you manage to highlight the whole
word, the bonus is triggered. The payout

Let me first of all explain how the 4 reel sets
work. You place a bet just like you do on a
normal slot machine, but your first spin will
only spin the first reel set. If you spin again
the second reel set will spin, and so on. During
the 4 spins from the first to the last reel set,
it's possible to highlight the "4 REEL" text at
the top of the screen. If this is done the bonus
game is triggered.
4 Reel Kings has wild symbols on reel 3, 4 and 5
on all the reel sets, these symbols substitute
for all other symbols in play. The maximal
potential win is 500x the stake per reel set,
and it's won by filling the entire screen with
money bag symbols. It's also possible to win
this prize within the bonus game that can be
triggered each of the reel sets. If you don't
win the bonus game during the normal spins, it
can also be activated by lightening the "4 REEL"
text on top of the slot.
After a winning spin is finished, it's possible
to gamble the wins in a true chance 50/50 gamble
game. Unlike other Novomatic games, it's not a
card game, but a pyramid of flashing lights. If
you click stop while the first step of the
pyramid is lit, you have doubled your win. If
you don't manage to lit it, the win is lost. The
number of layers in the pyramid depends on the
win, and you can never gamble a win higher than
500x the stake.
Bonus game: There are two ways to trigger
the bonus game. Just like on Reel King, the
bonus game can be triggered by sounds! So
there's no need for scatters or bonus symbols.
You basically need a combination of 5 melodies
when the 5 reels stops. The other way to trigger
the bonus is by lighting the "4 REEL" text on
top of the slot, this text can be lit fully or
partly during a spin on one of the reel sets. If
it is lit partly, you need to lit the rest of it
during the remaining spins on the other reel
sets. The lights will be turned off when the
spin on the 4th reel set has finished.
One of the above combinations will trigger a
bonus game where between 1 and 5 mini slots will
appear on the screen. The symbols on the slots
contain of blue, yellow and red sevens, but also
a black diamond symbol. As long as you get any
combination of 3 sevens on the reel set, you get
another spin. The maximal win per bonus round is
500x the stake per spin. A mix of sevens pay 2x
the stake, blue sevens pay 5x the stake, yellow
sevens pay 10x the stake, while the red sevens
pay 25x the stake. It's possible to win the
bonus game once per reel set, so it's possible
to win the maximal prize of 500x the stake 4
times during the four spins from the first to
the last reel set.
