Pearls of India was quickly becoming one of my
absolute favorite Play'n GO slot machines. It
has a lot of what I look for in a slot machine.
I can mention a few things: a collect feature
where you collect symbols to trigger a bonus
game, a free spin feature with huge multipliers,
wilds on all reels and dropping symbols that
makes it easier to trigger the features. It also
has a pretty nice payout percentage of 96.87%
which makes it even better. Another thing I
really like about Pearls of India is the free
spin music, that pan flute they have used is
just amazing when it reaches your ears. The base
game has a multiplier ladder that goes from x1
to x10, but in the free spin feature it's
possible to reach the top level of a x50
multiplier! That gives a potential maximal win of
2.500x the stake!

Pearls of India has wild symbols on all 5 reels
and also special wild symbols during the free
spin feature. A cool feature on this slot
machine is the multiplier ladder on the right
hand side. It has 5 different levels: x1, x2,
x4, x6 and x10. This ladder works in combination
with the dropping symbols, each spin starts at
the x1 multiplier, while it will increase one
step up the ladder each time a win is awarded
and the dropping symbol feature is activated. If
you reach the top multiplier, you'll play with
this as long as the wins continue to appear. And
just when a x10 multiplier sounds nice, I'm
going to tell you that it can increase up to x50
during the free spins! In additions to free
spins there's also a special way to collect
symbols for a bonus game, where you can pick
between 3 different bonuses. As many other

Bonus game: The bonus game on Pearls of
India is triggered in a very unusual way! On the
left hand side there's a bonus column that
starts at 0/25. During the base game you can
collect Taj Mahal symbols on all the 5 reels,
for each symbol you get a +1 is added to the
bonus column. When you reach 25/25 the bonus
feature is triggered. Here you get the option to
choose between the following 3 bonus games:
Statue of Vishnu, Wall of Shiva and Wheel of
Brahma. All of them have a maximal potential win
of 250x the total stake. (It's not possible to
save Taj Mahal symbols and then change the bet
size, each bet level has its own bonus column
and all progress made is saved. So you can leave
the game and come back later to continue on the
same stage.)
Statue of Vishnu is a simple bonus game
where you get presented with a 4 armed statue
that has 5 pearls shown for you on the screen.
Some of the pearls hides a cash prize while some
might be empty. It's up to you to pick pearls,
additional wins will be added together. The
bonus is over when you find an empty pearl or
when you have found 5 cash prizes.
Wall of Shiva presents you with a big wall
on a 5x5 grid. You start at the bottom where you
get to pick one spot, then you advance to the
next level and get to select another spot for
each level, as long as you find a pearl in the
previous level. All cash prizes that are found
will be added together. The bonus ends when you
find an empty spot or when you have reached the
top level.
Wheel of Brahma is a special edition of a
wheel of fortune wheel. It's a big wheel with 3
different levels that moves independently of
each other. Each wheel has 6 different symbols,
and the more matching symbols you manage to line
up under the top arrow, the more you win. The
different payouts are shown on the screen. There
are 4 normal symbols, 1 wild symbol and on
re-spin symbol on each reel. You get to spin one
time on each of the reels and the win is
determined by the symbols that land under the
top arrow.
Free spins: The free spin feature is
triggered by a pearl symbol on reel 1, 3 and 5.
This will reward you with 10 free spins where
the pearl symbols are transferred into wild
symbols and added to reel 2 and 4 as well. On
the left hand side there's a scatter column,
this will start at 0/5. For each pearl that
appears in the free spins, you'll get +1 on in
that column. For each time you reach 5/5, you
get rewarded with an additional 5 free spins.
Each time this happens the right hand side
multiplier ladder will increase by one level.
It's possible to re-trigger the free spins up to
4 times, so that a total of 30 spins have been
rewarded and the multiplier ladder is maxed out
at x50 for the top level.
