Before we look at the normal features, I want
to explain a bit about the special game play on
this slot machine. There are two things I would
like to explain. The first and most unique thing
about this game is the way the reels work. They
spin as on a normal slot machine, but after a
win is awarded, the reel sets are moved one
position to the right. This will cause the 5th
reel symbols to disappear, while the earlier 4th
reel now takes place at the 5th reel, and so it
goes for the other reels as well. This makes
room for a new 1st reel, and that's just what
you get. This process will continue as long as
you get additional winning combinations. The
second thing is a win multiplier. For each time
the reels are moving, a multiplier shown on the
top of the screen will increase to multiply your
wins.
Robin Hood: Shifting Reels has wild symbols on
all the 5 reels, and these symbols substitute
for all other symbols except the money bag and
the extra free spin symbols. A 5 of a kind
combination of them would only pay 50x the
stake, but it can be increased to up to 250x the
stake depending on the progressive multiplier.
The multiplier I'm talking about is shown on the
top of the screen, and it starts at the value of
x1 for a normal spin. Then it increases to x2,
x3 and x5 if you win 2, 3, 4 or more times
during a single spin. There is also a free spin
feature on Robin Hood: Shifting Reels, and it's
activated by collecting money bag symbols during
the base game.
Free spins: The free spin feature on this
game is triggered in an unusual way. Each of the
5 reels has a chest underneath them, and each of
the reels also has a money bag symbol that can
appear in any base game spin. For each time you
collect a money bag, it will be saved in the
chest below the reel it appeared on, and it will
transform the current money bag into a wild
symbol for the current spin. You will need to
collect 4 money bags in a chest to trigger the
free spin feature. If this is done, the free
spin feature is launched with a wheel spin. This
wheel spin has all the premium paying symbols on
it, and it will determine which of the premium
symbols you get as an extra wild during the free
spins.
You start off with 10 free spins, but it's
possible to win additional spins by getting 2 or
more Free Spins symbols on reel 2, 3 and 4.
These symbols are only visible during the free
spins. 2 symbols will reward you with 5 extra
