machine from Novomatic. This is actually one of
my personal favorite slot machines. It has such
a nice free spin feature that's normally
possible to re-trigger multiple times during a
feature. I would like to mention that it might
be a hassle to trigger the free spin feature,
but when you first get it, it's normally a very
good feature that can last for a long time with
potential re-triggers. I'm the first to say that
the payout percentage is in the lower end at
only 94.01%, but for this game the free spin
feature is so good that I would give it a go
anyway. The potential maximal win is at a
staggering 8.000x the stake per spin, and it can
be won during the free spin feature where all
wins are multiplied by x4, or x8 if a wild
symbol is substituting in the combination.

The feature to wish for and look out for is the
free spin feature, it's known for being hard to
trigger, but easy to re-trigger and to give out
a lot of free spins when you first get it.
Unlike other Novomatic games Captain Venture
doesn't have a red/black gamble game, but it has
another version of it. If you chose to gamble
your winnings you will see that it's a ladder
game, and if you try to climb the ladder for
higher prizes the true chance is 50/50, so
there’s no house edge on the gambling feature.
If you reach the top of the ladder, the shown
prize will be won, but you can also abort at any
time to cash out any wins you might have gotten
during the gamble feature.
Free spins: The free spins are triggered
by getting 3 or more scatter symbols on the
reels. When this is done a wheel bonus is loaded
and the amount of spins you get will be
determined by the wheel. The wheel has 10
positions, and it's filled with the following
values: 10-16-12-18-14-20-16-12-18-14. All of
them represent the amount of free spins you will
get. During the free spins all winning
combinations are multiplied with x4, but if they
contain a wild symbol the multiplier will jump
to x8! There are several additional scatter
symbols added to the reels during the free
