Hugo is a slot machine based on a game show that
was broadcasted in Scandinavian television
during the 90's. It's made by Play'n GO and it
features some of the classic Huge elements. One
example is the pick a door bonus. This is
actually the exact same bonus as you find on
Enchanted Crystals,
but they have changed the graphics slightly. You
basically get to pick some doors, and if you get
really lucky the maximal potential win is 500x
the stake per bonus round. The maximal win is
listed to be 100.000 credits or 2.000x the
stake, but I can't understand how that is
possible when I look at the paytable. The
maximal win in the bonus game is as mentioned
500x, while a 5 of a kind combination of wild
symbols only pays 200x the stake. There is also
a free spin feature that can be won, but there
are no multipliers or higher wins available
during those. Anyway, the theoretically payout
percentage for Hugo is 96.40%.

Hugo has wild symbols on all the reels and these
symbols substitute for all other symbols except
the bonus symbols and the scatter symbols. There
are two different features that can be won
during the base game. The first one is a pick
bonus, where you get the chance to win up to
500x the stake. While the other one is a free
spin feature where you get to select what amount
of spins and cash prize combinations you want
for the free spins.
Bonus game: The bonus game is triggered
by getting a red treasure chest anywhere on reel
1, 3 and 5. This combination will trigger a pick
bonus where you start off standing in front of 4
doors. Your goal is to get to the end of a
series of doors, and you click on the door you
want to open. The door can be empty, which means
you can proceed, it can also hide a cash prize
and let you go on. The only thing that can stop
you from moving on in the bonus is if you find
the crocodile. There is a total of 4 stages, 4
doors, 3 doors, 2 doors and 2 chests. If you
make it to the chests, one of them will have a
cash prize while the other one won't reward you
with anything additional. The bonus ends when a
crocodile is found or when the last chest is
opened.
Free spins: The free spins are triggered
when 3 or more scatter symbols appears anywhere
on the reels. This triggers a screen where you
can choose between 3 different free spin
options. During these spins several stacked
Hugoline symbols are added to the reels. The
value of each of these symbols depend on which
free spin option you pick. 5 spins and 30
credits per Hugoline, 10 spins and 20 credits
per Hugoline, or 15 spins and 10 credits per
Hugoline. For each Hugoline symbol that appears,
your paid the given amount of credits your
chosen option stated. The free spin feature can
be re-triggered, and it will give you the
