I personally think that one of the more
interesting slot machines from 2014 was Arcader
from Thunderkick. This slot machine is themed
from the outer space, but also gives me an epic
feel of the good old 80's. With brilliant
graphics and sounds that could have been taken
out of any good arcade machine from the 80's
this slot just gives me a really good vibe! One

Like I've mentioned above, Arcader offers quite
a few cool features. First of all, all the reels
on this machine are filled with stacked symbols
that can potentially cover the whole reel, this
gives a good vibe for a decent full screen of
high paying symbols. A unique feature I don't
think I've ever seen on any online slots before
is the expanding symbols that are shown on reel
2, 3 and 4. What's unique about them is that
they switch in to the best possible symbol for
the specific combination you have gotten on the
reels. So on one spin it can replace 7's, while
it replaces watermelons on the next spin. It's
sort of like an expanding wild, but it can only
replicate one of the symbols in front of it.
Free spins: The free spins can be triggered
with 3, 4 or 5 scatters. All combinations
initially give you 9 free spins, but 3 scatters
multiply your winnings with x1, 4 scatters with
x3 and 5 scatters with x9. Each and all of the 9
free spins at Arcader will reward you with one
sticky wild that will stick until the free spins
are finished. On the first spin a wild is added
on the middle position on reel number 3, on the
next spins additional wilds can be shot in place
on reel 2, 3 and 4. It is possible to get a wild
on top of an existing wild, but if you manage to
avoid that you'll have reel number 2, 3 and 4
full of wilds on your last spin. It's not
possible to re-trigger the free spin rounds.
Bonus game: Arcader offers a pick and win
bonus game, where you get better odds the more
scatters you trigger the bonus with. In the
bonus you get presented 15 question marks, the
first pick can never be a bust as the X symbol
isn't added for the first pick. After the first
pick all prizes are randomly shuffled behind the
question marks, including the bust symbols (the
X). The bonus can be triggered with 3, 4 or 5
scatters, and it will have 3, 2 or 1 bust
symbols depending on the amount of scatters, so
the more scatters the less chance you have to
find a busting symbol. In addition to that, you
also get your winnings multiplied depending on
the amount of triggering scatters. 3 scatters
pays all winnings x1, 4 scatters pays x2, while
5 scatters x6.
