Let me first explain a bit about the two
different reel sets on Mega Joker. The bottom
reel set is the main reel set, this is where all
initial bets are placed. Any win that are won on
this reel set is transferred to the supermeter
shown on top of the slot. As long as there is
money on the supermeter, the player can choose
to play the top reel set with bets of 20, 40,
100 or 200 credits per spin, or to cash them out
to get them to the balance. If the player cash
them out, the play will resume on the bottom
reel set. It's not possible in any way to play
the top reel set without first playing and
winning on the
bottom reel set.
Mega Joker does not have any wild symbols, but
it has joker symbols that can pay mystery
prizes. During the base game a combination of 3
jokers on a payline will reward you with
anything from 20 to 400 credits per 3 of a kind
combination. Most players that play this game
likes to gamble there wins on the bottom reel
set in the top reel set, and that's actually
what you are doing. The top reel set is almost
like playing a red/black gamble game, but the
wins are spread much more to include higher win
multipliers.
Supermeter / Top reel set: The supermeter
is a balance shown over the top reel set and it's
filled by initially winning on the bottom reel
set. The player can choose to cash out money
from the supermeter to go back to the bottom
reel set, or they can choose to play on the top
reel set. If the player chose to play on the top
reel set, the different bet sizes are 20, 40,
100 and 200 credits per spin. The prizes on the
top reel set are higher than on the bottom reel
set, and there is also a mystery joker feature.
20 and 40 credits bets, are normal spins that are
paid accordingly to the left and right side
paytable (20 left and 40 right). The 100 credits
bet will pay out according to the 40 credits paytable, but it will
also highlight the joker that is shown over reel
number 2. If a joker lands on this position
during a 100 credits spin, a mystery prize
between 100 and 2.000 credits is awarded.
The 200 credits bet works the same way as the
100 credits bet, but it highlights all 3 jokers.
This means that any joker that is shown on the
reels will generate a win between 100 and 2.000
credits per joker symbol. The maximal win during
the supermeter mode is 2.000 credits, and higher
wins will not be credited the players account.
This is where the difference in the payout
percentage shows, as there is an amount where
it's optimal to cash out. If you have 1.800
credits and win 2.000 more you "lose" 1.800
credits, and this will give you a theoretically
lower RTP. So be smart when you have a big
supermeter balance.
Jackpot: The progressive jackpot that is
shown on the bottom of the slot machine can be
won randomly at any spin. The only requirement
to win the jackpot is that you play on all 5
paylines. The jackpot is not awarded by any
winning combination, but it can be randomly
awarded at any spin played. The higher the bet
is, the higher the chance of winning the jackpot
is. The jackpot re-sets at €2.000 if it's won,
and it can grow up to +€50.000. This is a local
jackpot, so the value of it will differ from one
