originally made by Astra. Astra is however a sub
company to Novomatic, so it's brought online by
Novomatic's online division named Greentube.
This is a slot machine that have been highly
popular in the UK land based market for several
years, but its available online for everyone to
play. Reel King is actually the same slot as
Win Wizard, but with a
slightly different presentation of the bonus
game. It's a fairly simple slot machine with a
mix between single and stacked symbols. The
maximal win per spin is 500x the stake during
both the base game and the bonus game. The bonus
game is actually known for being a bit buggy.
Sometimes the bonus game refuses to load, and
instead the cash prizes are just paid out
without any animations. This does not interfere
with the payout percentage or anything, it's
just a graphical bug. The RTP for Reel King is
really low at only 93.97%.

Reel King has wild symbols on reel 3, 4 and 5,
and these symbols substitute for all other
symbols in play. The best paying symbol is the
Jackpot symbol, and it's possible to fill the
entire screen with this symbol for a prize of
500x the stake. The only bonus feature on this
game is a feature that is activated by sound
only, yes your heard it right. There's no
symbols needed to activate the bonus, you just
need to listed for a sound when each reel stops.
I'll explain it more in the below section. If
you're a real gambler you might want to try to
double your winnings in the in-game double up
game that's presented as an option after any
winning spin. Here you get a true 50/50 chance
to double your winnings in a red/black card
game, but please remember that you also risk all
the winnings!
Bonus game: Like mentioned above, the
bonus game is triggered in a highly unusual way
on Reel King. If you play the slot with sounds
muted, you have no indications that the bonus
game is won until it pops up on the screen.
However, if you have sounds activated, you will
have to listen for a melody for each of the 5
reels. If a melody is played when each of the 5
reels stop, the bonus game is triggered. (If you
are lucky, as there is a bug in this slot that
sometimes don't show the animations from the
bonus game, but instantly pay out the prizes
that was supposed to be won from the bonus game
animations). I mentioned earlier that this is
the same slot machine as Win Wizard, but that
the bonus game was slightly different, and
here’s the difference. While Win Wizard rewards
you with between 1 and 5 books that will give
you different cash prizes, Reel King rewards you
with between 1 and 5 mini slot machines.
Each of the mini slot machines can pay different
amounts, but the total win will never exceed
500x. So if you get all 5 mini slot
machines, the maximal prize is still 500x the stake.
You get to spin the slot machines as long as you
get a winning combination of sevens. If you look
at the paytable, you will see that a combination
of mixed sevens pays 2x the stake, blue sevens
pays 5x the stake, yellow sevens pays 10x the
stake, while the red sevens pays 25x the stake.
Each mini slot machine will continue to spin as
long as you get a winning combination, or until
the maximal win of 100x the stake is won. The
bonus ends when none of the slot machines has
spins left, or when 500x the stake is won.
