Flame of Fortune is a slot machine from Barcrest, with a flaming hot theme. During the base game, it’s possible to win a Fortune Drop feature. This is a free spin game played on another reel set with dropping symbols. Each time you win during this feature, the winning symbols are removed and new symbols appears to create new wins. That's basically the only feature during the normal base game, but like many other games from Barcrest, the game has a Big Bet feature. This feature let you buy 5 or 8 spins at a higher stake to get more frequent features and special symbols in play during the spins. The maximal win per spin during the base game is only 100x the total stake, but it's possible to win up to 1.000x the line bet during the Big Bet feature. I'll start off by explaining a bit about the different betting options and payouts for this slot machine. Bets from €0.10 to €1.00 per spin will have wild symbols that substitute for all symbols in play except the golden symbols. For bets of €2.00 or higher, the wild symbols will substitute for the golden symbols as well. This means that the total payout percentage is 2% higher for the bets of €2.00 and higher. It's also possible to buy Big Bets, these are bets at a cost of €20, €30 or €50 per round, and they buy you 5 or 8 linked spins, depending on the bet size. All Big Bets are played at a stake per line of €0.20, so the higher the Big Bet, the lower the win related to the bet will be, but a higher Big Bet stake will buy you more or better features during the spins.

Flame of Fortune has wild symbols on all the 5 reels, and as mentioned above they substitute for different symbols based on the bet size. The main feature on this slot machine is the Fortune Drop free spins that can be won during both the base game, and during the Big Bets. This is a free spin feature where you play on another reel set, and you get the option to exchange your winnings from this game in a wheel of flame game. If Big Bets are played, additional features will be in play during the spins. I'll try to explain the different features a bit more detailed in the below section.

Big Bet feature: There are 3 different Big Bet options on Flame of Fortune, and each of them start by letting you chose a spin on either the red or the blue wheel in the Wheels of Fate. These wheels will give you an advantage during the Big Bet spins, in form of extra wild symbols, expanding wilds or extra golden reels. The €20 bet will buy you 5 spins and a spin on Wheels of Fate, while the €30 bet will buy you 8 spins and a spin on Wheels of Fate. The most expensive Big Bet of €50 will buy you 8 spins and a spin at the Super Wheel of Fate wheel, these wheels have upgraded features compared to the other wheels. Wheel of Fate: The red wheel can reward you with 1 to 3 golden reels, expanding wilds or 1 wild reel. The blue reel can reward you with 1 to 3 golden reels. Super Wheel of Fate: The red wheel can reward you with 2 to 3 golden reels, expanding wilds or 1 to 2 wild reels. The blue reel can reward you with 2 to 3 golden reels.

Fortune Drop free spins: The free spin feature is triggered by getting at least one golden symbol on each of the 5 reels. If this combination is shown, a different reel set is loaded on the screen and you get 1 spin on this reel set. This is a 5x5 reel set, and symbols pay if you have 3 of a kind or more horizontally or vertically. All winning combinations will be removed from the reels, and new symbols will drop down from the top of the reels. Your game will continue until there's no more winning combinations. These free spins are played with different symbols and at a separate paytable with prizes that pays from 3 of a kind to 5 of a kind. The winnings from this feature might be gambled in the Flame of Fortune wheel.

Flame of Fortune wheel: After the Fortune Drop free spin feature has ended a Flame of Fortune wheel is loaded on the screen. This wheel will have different cash values, and some of the positions will be replaced with different Fortune Drop features. Here you can choose if you want to keep your win from the Fortune Drop free spins, or if you want to gamble them for a cash prize, or one of the new Fortune Drop combinations that are shown. Beside the cash options, the other offers will contain of one or more Fortune Drop free games, and in addition it might be a win multiplier and/or added wild symbols.
